NIGHT FELL ON THE LITTLE cabin, and Lizzie found herself being grateful that it was almost time to escape to her room for the evening. They’d covered quite a bit of the farm’s valley floor while the sun was out. Lizzie had been amazed at the view – two steep peaks covered in evergreens and snow on either side of the twenty-acre wide property, and at the back, a third peak further off that was nestled deep within the Daniel Boone National Forest’s designated borders.
