“Hi! I was just thinking about you, but I didn’t know if you were working or not.”
“Just walked in the door,” she replied. “And I thought I’d call and let you know I managed to wrangle three days off in a row coming up.”

“This Sunday through Tuesday. And I was wondering...”
“Is it okay if I come see you?” Donny said. “I miss you.”
