I felt like I was having an outer body experience. It was like I could see everything happening from above. I could see the shock on my face, I saw my lips move several times trying to say something, yet nothing was coming out. It was like a moment suspended in time; I couldn’t believe it.
I had been worried sick, there wasn’t a moment that I even doubted this would happen. How stupid could I be?
In a simple second I was back, breathing heavily, trying to stop the angry, confused tears from leaking down my face. I stared at him, trying to understand why he would do this. He said he loved me, he asked me to marry him, how could he take all that away in one split second.
