I had decided just to come home after being with Adrian at the graveyard. I just didn’t have it in me to make small talk with everyone. There was too much going on in my mind, too much that I just didn’t know how to deal with. Besides, it would be good to be alone for a while with my thoughts. As I unlocked the door, I kicked my shoes off and dropped my bag making my way to the kitchen.
