"You are taking me back to Ashland?" Gwen asks in shock. "Does your Emperor know that?"
"No, he doesn't."
"He is going to kill you if he finds out I am no longer in the palace."
"It's better than you being killed by him, I can't stand and watch that happen."
Gwen smiles at his words. "But what of my mother? Will she come with me?"
Shaking his head sideways, "No she won't, getting her out of the chains that bind her is hard, but according to her she will be set free."
