Episode No 3:Linger On

Aenna woke up in the morning, she opened her closet, she chose a red mini top and black skirt. She made a hair bun and adorned it with red butterfly.

Aenna to her Mother (Mrs.Marvel): Mummie where are my red sandals? I have to go on a get together with my friends; i am getting late.

Mrs.Marvel: Honey! check the last cabinet of shoe rack.

Aenna tied the long laces of her sandals and ran downstairs.She hugged her mom and then asked the driver to take her at the Mighty Cafe near there house.

Aenna entered the cafe and her friends Julia and Lila were already there.They oredered hot coffees, cupcakes, muffins, macarons and some dry cakes. Girls were busy in their gossips, all of a sudden, Aenna noticed Albert there.He was with Elas and George. Aenna said to Julia and Lila, Albert is also here.

Julia and Lila asked her: Albert, who is he.. Aenna pointed towards him with her eyes.

Julia: Aenna_ is he your boyfriend?

Aenna : no no definitely not. He is our neighbor. I met him few days ago.

Lila: He is handsom and smart.

Aenna: Then, she gave an ironic look.

Julia: Aenna don't be so cold. He is handsom. He looks like a heroe. Look at his bisceps, Aenna. If he was my neighbor, I would definitely chose to befriend with him.

Aenna: I think i made a wrong decision to tell you about him.

(Instantly, Albert got his eyes on Aenna and he became so excited to see her. He excused his friends and moves towards her table).

Lila: Aenna, he is coming.

Albert: Aenna you are here. I am pleased to see you. I am also here with my boy gang. You all can join us.

Aenna: No no .. we have already done with our snacks and coffees.

Albert: okay_ i thought we could have some fun together.

Aenna: I am not allowed to hangout with boys.

Albert laughed, like really. In which century you are living Aenna.

Aenna: May be I still hold old school of thoughts.

Julia and Lila: We are also tired of Aenna's old school of thoughts. Aenna, he is right.. with time norms and values change. You should opt modern mindset.

Aenna gave an angry look to her friends by uplifting her eyebrows. Are you guys really my friend or his.

Albert smiled.Alright alright.. i can understand. I don't want to create a tug of war between the girls' trio. Enjoy.

Albert went back to his table.

Elas and George asked him who is she.

Albert scrolling his phone told them that she is her neighbor.

George inquired: Only neighbor? When you was talking to her your face was saying something else. I haven't seen you that much blissed even when you are with us.

Albert bursts into a laughter. Come on.

Elas: It means something is definitely cooking inside you.

Albert: She is an innocent girl. Yeah It's true that when I saw her for the first time, I liked her very much but there is nothing between us. Even we never talked like friends. She is so reserved. I tried so hard to get into a proper dialogue. But she always seems in a hurry and tries to ignore me. May be she doesn't like me at all.

Elas: So what even if she doesn't like you. You are no less than her. She might start liking you later.

Albert took a long breathe. A little hope is always left behind in the core of heart.
