Anthea checked her wound- the makeshift bandage was not working at all. Her left arm was hurting like hell and she immediately needed medical attention. But she knew that the war was far from over. She was lying down by the hedges with back against a small stone watching the war unfold but she couldn't do much. A few metres ahead she could see Megan lying down on the ground senseless from the blast. Had she not interfered Anthea would have been ripped to pieces from the blast. It's been ten or more minutes since the blast and Anthea wanted to go check on Megan but she felt a numbing pain that was crippling her body from head to toe- she was going into shock.
