Delilah

The party's in full swing when we step inside. The boys lead us to the kitchen to get drinks. Taking the beer from Rayland after he opened it for me. Looking around for Hazel and I spot her and Jake making their way through the crowd to a couch. Looking around to find Keagan, but the kitchen was empty except for me and Rayland.

''You look beautiful shortcake''he says, standing in front of me with my back against the kitchen counter. Looking up at him to see his eyes running over my body. I can feel a blush creeping up to my cheeks. My breathing quickens when he steps closer to me. I take a sip of my beer and keep eye contact when his eyes meet mine. His so close his breath fans my face. I let out a squeal when his hands found their way around my thighs and lifted me onto the counter with him standing between my legs. I put one hand on his shoulder to steady myself and put the beer down on the counter with the other one.

''Did you miss me shortcake?'' He asked, his hand, running up and down my thighs.

''Where were you?'' I asked, putting my hands on the counter behind me.

''Had to take care of something back home''There was something flashing behind his eyes, but it's gone again, but I caught it.'' Now your turn baby did you miss me?''

''No''I breathed out when he leaned forward.

''Are you sure baby?''

''Yes''I whispered back. Leaning my forehead against his. Our noses touch and our lips only a breath away.

''I know when you are lying to me shortcake and right now you're lying''He lifts his hand to my face, running his thumb over my bottom lip and his eyes follow the action, and they darken a little. I can't talk, I'm focused on his lips.'' Tell me, shortcake, did you check your phone every two minutes for a text from me or did you pick your phone up to text me or call. Were you worried about me?'' He brushes his lips against mine, barely touching them and my breath hitches when he wraps his hand around my throat.'' Answer me babygirl''

''Yes''The moment the three-letter word left my lips, his was on mine. His lips move slowly, and then he picks up speed, plunging his tongue in my mouth, dancing with mine, and I moan into the kiss. My hands find their way into his hair pulling and elicting a groan from him.

''Eww get a room and I thought you two weren't a couple''We hear Keagan's voice and break apart. Rayland groans and moves his head to the crook of my neck, placing a kiss there and mumbled something under his breath about cockblocker. Looking over Rayland's shoulder to Keagan, who was looking at us in amusement.

''I'm going to the bathroom''I announced when Rayland stepped away from me. Jumping off the counter and adjusting my dress, I made my way out of the kitchen toward the stairs, but then I remembered I didn't know where the bathroom was. Asking a guy that stands next to the stairs for directions, I make it to the bathroom and do my business before I exit the bathroom to find the same guy from the stairs standing at the door.

''Your very beautiful darling''He slurs and takes a step towards me.'' You want to get out of here baby?'' He asks again, and he reeks of alcohol when he steps closer to me. I try to side step him, but he moves in front of me, blocking my way.

''Get out of my way''I asked calmly, but internally I was freaking out. He lifts his palm to my cheek and places his hand there, and I move my face out of his hand and swats it away.

''Don't be like that baby, you're going to like it''His face is so close, and I try stepping back, but my back meets the wall behind me and I have nowhere to go.

''She said no''That voice that became my favorite answers from behind the guy. His voice is darker, and I know he's mad. When I look over the guys' shoulder I find Rayland, Jake, Keagan and Hazel all standing behind him, and they are not happy. The guy looks behind him and when he sees the three of them he audibly gulps, and he starts to back away from me.

''I'm sorry I didn't know she was yours man''The guy says, looking at a very angry Rayland who's jaw is set and hand clenched. He looked like he wanted to kill the guy.

''It doesn't matter who's girl she is, if a girl says no, then to leave her alone''Rayland says, taking a step closer to the guy with Keagan and Jake behind him. Keagan is always the friendly one of the three, but now he looks like he's the deadliest one of the three. Gone is the smile that always graces his features and gone is the jokes he always makes. In place is a dark appearance. Looking from them to Hazel, who waves me over to her. Standing next to Hazel, I watched Rayland whispering something to the guy and his face turn pale and Keagan and Jake had smiles on their faces, but not the friendly kind.

''What do you think Rayland said to him''Hazel whispers next to my ear, but my focus is on the three who turn around and walk over to us. Jake takes Hazels' hand, and they make their way down the stairs. Keagan stops in front of me and looks me over.

''Did he hurt you?'' Keagan asks, but there's no smile on his face and his eyes are still dark. I shake my head no at his question, and he nods.'' Take care of her I'm leaving''I says to Rayland, who nods his head. Keagan places a kiss on my forehead and turns around and walks away with his hands in fists. Turning my attentions back to Rayland, who's eyes were on Keagan's retreating figure with worry in his eyes.
