The particles collected from the 'Hawkian cluster' do not contain compounds of known substances. The composition is foreign. Estimated origin- from the Clustorial belts.
Observation to be continued.
It has been an exhausting few days after some soldiers found out about a meteor hit at 'Ara forest'.
Our research centre was observing the anomalies in the night sky for more than nine months.
When a high meteor shower happened on the 13th of the 10th month, I was so excited. That night was fabulous.
The dark sky, where Zooie and Toriah both glistened and many clusters of stars hung everywhere, spread around the vast canvas of the untouchable sky looked extraordinarily beautiful.
The meteor shower falling like random shooting stars and the way the long tail like impressions were left. It was really marvellous to lay on the ground and look above. And that is what I did.
By the way, I am Tony. I am an assistant professor and general director of Engame International Research Centre.
Engame has been my home my entire life. My parents are still a mystery to me but I know I was cared for like a son by Professor Sundae.
Professor Sundae has been my mentor and my guide for almost all my life. He is a kind and practical man. He always leaves his black hair in a mess. He allows it to grow wild, although he keeps it from growing longer than his shoulders. He loves wearing his Viliverin suit.
The Viliverin suit is made of a special polymer called the Exorabilis. It is really expensive material but as the founding scientist, he could afford it.
Nowadays, he is perfecting a cost- productive way to produce the fibre.
As for me, I am comfortable with the practical and cheap fabrics made from 'cellulose tissues' of a plant called Gossypium.
I have always wondered if all the names of all fauna and flora could have been made in gamea, how would it sound like. Probably 'Gossypium' might be named like 'cotton.'
Cotton. I like it better.
So, under Professor Sundae, I have been working for two years and I really like my work.
These days, I am focused on the 'hawkian cluster', the meteor that actually made it through the planet's atmosphere. There was a sudden burst of explosion and a crater was developed.
Soldiers did retrieve a small part for investigation and I am the lead scientist on the case.
This is my first assignment as a leader, so I look forward to actually getting into the forest to investigate.
In Kliptora, due to the toxic air outside the continents, civilians are not allowed outside the continents. The soldiers have the permission but they too must go through with caution.
When some science related emergency is needed, the soldiers have the permit to take one of the scientists to investigate and this time it is me.
I have been studying the rock for a few days and it has nothing interesting about it.
Today was my lucky day. I get to go out into the forest and find out more about it from the place where the meteor had fallen.
I freshen up by the 8th hour 15 minutes, and I get out of my stay room.
My stay room, like the rest of the stay room in Engame, has two rooms, a small common area, a kitchen and a bathroom.
I occupy one of the rooms and I do not have a roommate yet.
My room consists of a wooden table and chair with some reference tablets on the desk, a bed and a small cubicle to keep my clothes and other important files.
The common room has a sofa and a small table with a few paintings on the white painted walls. The floors are carpeted with gray carpets.
Anyway, I close my door to the stay room and take a 'mobile' to the nearest port.
The streets if Engame was bustling with activities. People were walking towards wherever they were going.
The levi-tiles were paved all around the ground and the mobiles hover over the electromagnets. These plates are very conventional and also act as an energy source and a means to avoid the mobiles hovering over the levi-tiles.
If I were the one naming these things. I would have named them 'roads' and 'footpaths'.
There are stay rooms on either sides of the levi-tiles and also other important buildings, like grocery stores, hospital wings, libraries, soldier camps and such things.
The soldier camp in Engame is named Soil-Engame. The solider camp was where the soldiers used to live in any continent. There are six soldiers each in every continent except the major continent, Edbranch, which acts like the administrative continent of Kliptora.
I reach there in the 8th hour 50 minutes. Trevor meets me at the gate.
Trevor is the main soldier of Engame. He is almost my age, I think. He has red hair and his eyes are glistening terra-tri-colour. He wore his uniform which is just the Gossypium fibered pants and shirts. The Khaki colour is also a nice touch.
He hands me a pair of soldier uniforms and says, "Please wear these. It is easier to blend in."
I nod and take the clothes and move into a small room. The room has nothing in it except for a hanger to hang the clothes.
I quickly change into those clothes and get out.
"What is next?" I ask.
"We will administer a d**g to keep you alerted, since it is your first time outside the continent." Trevor says.
"Sure." I approve.
Trevor inserts a thick blue vial of liquid into my slimy peach skin and into my blue veins.
I flinch a bit.
"Now, we will attach the oxygen mask and an oxygen provider." With that Trevor gets a bag-like thing and puts it over my shoulder.
The bag-like thing is definitely metal covered in the vilverin suit. There was a tube protruding from the bag which Trevor directed to my nose. and attached it into my nostrils. After a few minutes of re adjusting . I am good to go.
Trevor takes a few minutes prepping himself with the mask and then we walk towards the air locked door which would lead us out to the forest.
The continents are protected by a dome like structure which locks the oxygen inside.
The forest was truly mesmerising. The greenery gave my nerves a soothing feeling. There were chirps and all kinds of wild noises resonating in the dark blue sky. There were various kinds of only seen pictures. The ruling of the wind and the crunching of leaves beneath our feet, the swooshing of small bushes and some birds ooting and screeching gives a great background.
It was an exhausting walk towards the crater.
When we reached the crater, Trevor said,"Check whatever you want to check."
I nod.
The crater was really deep. It was approximately five feet deep. The crater was approximately three feet wide. I scraped some more rocks and also took the nearby soil sample.
I checked the moisture content of the nearby trees and also took a soil sample of the forest soul one kilometer away.
It took me two hours (I guess) to take all the samples and other data for analysis.
Helo was starting to rise on the horizon. It was getting late.
"Let's go." I say.
Trevor nodded and helped me pack the samples.
As we were walking back, a creature leaped towards us out of the blue.
I fell down due to impact and looked at the beautiful golden bodied beast. It had white spots on its back, its antennas protruding like a tree branch from its head. The wide black eyes reflected my gaze at it.
I remember seeing a picture of this beast, it was called a Hyelaphus. But I would have liked calling it a deer.
Trevor slowly came near me and touched me. The beast looked at me and just stood there.
Maybe it was admiring us. Maybe it was thinking about how to devour us.
"Get up slowly and walk with me. Hyelaphus are herbivores. It won't hurt us. But when a prey is spotted, the predator can be near." Trevor whispered in my ears, still eyeing the deer.
I nod.
I slowly get up and follow Trevor, keeping an eye on the creature.
The creature does not move. Its ears are alert and its legs are ready to sprint. My heart suddenly started beating. I just felt like gazing at the creature's eyes was better than walking away from it.
We move like five meters, the creature still gazing at us, when the unexpected happens.
