Lyall Aria was nervous. I could tell from the shaky hands and slightly dilated pupils. It was more than nervousness and more like fear. But what was she frightened of? I couldn't tell. Even as she tried her hardest to cover it up, I could easily tell how heightened her emotions were from the mate bond. I rubbed circles on her back, hoping it would calm her down.
