I stood by the door, waiting and trying not to be affected by the yells and cries from the other side of the door. Lyall had asked me to leave so he could speak to Sheila. I was going to be called back in later.
Leaning against the wall, I shut my eyes tightly and tried not to cry as she yelled curses at me and called me a w***e.
