“Let me out!” I screamed at the stone-faced palace guard but he refused to budge. Serene and I had been locked up in this room for hours and I was beginning to lose my mind.
A couple of hours ago, Serene and I were talking over tea when we suddenly heard screams and shouts all over the palace. We ran out into the hallway and I swear, I had never seen so much chaos and pandemonium in my life.
