I held Aria's hands and led them inside. Lily was in the kitchen,I could hear her humming softly while arranging some flowers she’d bought yesterday. The sight of her, serene and alive, made my chest tighten with both longing and relief.
“Lily,” I said softly, as the twins peeked from behind me.
Her head turned, eyes widening slightly. “Andrew? And… Aria __the twins?”
“I brought them here,” I said, setting my jacket down and letting the twins step forward.
“They'll be staying here with us for a while.”
Her gaze softened as she took in the twins, she had met Aria already but she doesn't know Aiden
“Aiden this is Lily, my girlfriend” I said
Aiden arched his brow at me I wanted to kick him
