Chapter8 Triangle Choke

2340 Words
Elektra had never known that apart from the living room, the storage room, and the swimming pool in this huge manor Abel had a fully equipped fighting arena. Now she was lying in the ring, the white light above her head is flickering. She was in a trance. "Get Up." The Man's voice came from her ear, Elektra gritted her teeth and staggered up from the ground. “Know why you’d be knocked out?” asked Abel in a cold tone. Elektra remained silent. She stared at him, hands rubbing the corner of her mouth. “Because you're not ruthless enough - you only want to beat your opponent, not to kill him.” “Fighting and killing are not the same thing.” Abel frowned and his gaze turned even colder. “Didn't you know this before you entered the industry, Miss Garner? Every time we make a move, we are risking our lives to fight for it. Only by eliminating an opponent can we have a better chance of survival.” Elektra wanted to refute, but she could not find the proper excuse. The sweaty hair hung down from her forehead, covering the dark eyes. She looked like a stubborn drowned rat. Abel looked down at her and added, “Especially when you are a woman.” “What’s wrong with being a woman?” Elektra asked in return, with a raising face that was noticeably wild and unruly. Abel's eyes were cold, but there was no disdain in them. “You can't compete with others in terms of strength. The only thing you can rely on is timing. Strike first and kill with one shot. The longer you wait, the worse it will be for you.” Seeing that Elektra did not speak, he continued, “Attack the vital points. Leave no way out. Use ingenuity rather than a brute force.” “Come here.” Abel nodded to Elektra, beckoning her to approach. Elektra did as she was told. But within a few steps, in a flash of white light, she subconsciously used her hand to fend off, dodging aside at the same time. A gust of wind rose suddenly, and a little noise came from the air. The next second saw Abel’s hand stopping on her temple. “Look at the enemy when you're dodging. Turning aside will only expose your vulnerabilities.” He stepped back and stared at Elektra. “Again.” It stoked Elektra anger. Biting her lower lip, she stood up again. This time she took a preemptive strike. The fist was swift, nimble and merciless, landing straight on Abel’s nose. He quickly forestalled her but Elektra already punched him in the arm. The man's arm was strong and masculine, as hard as a steel plate. Elektra felt the pain and stopped. Abel took her arm and twisted it out, exposing her chest and abdomen. His fist once again stopped at Elektra's chest. “Your height is not an advantage. Don't attack the head. Instead, use the difference in body size to attack the lower parts of the body. Ribs, groins and genitals are all the vulnerable parts. ” He let go of Elektra, took two steps back and said, “Again.” Elektra was panting heavily. The stamina was exerted too much: she felt an attack of the dizziness of hypoxia. When she looked up and saw Abel’s disdainful glare, the rebel spirit flared up. Another round of punching and dodging. Even though she focused on the opponent’s eyes, she was caught by her upper arm again. This time she did not counter attack, but retreated swiftly, forcing him to let her go first. He had to use the other hand to hold her. Right in time! Elektra took the chance, making use of the force from Abel’s hand to grasp her and gave him a sudden pull. Abel was forced to jump out of a step. At lightening speed Elektra changed her position to Abel’s outside, grabbing his arm while lifting her leg. Her knee went straight toward his abdomen. Boom! With a muffled sound, the overhead lights seemed to tremble. Elektra felt a pain in the shoulder blade. Abel was surely not easy to deal with. The lethal attack was compromised adroitly by him. They fought from the ring to the ground. Elektra was locked by him, and could not turn back. She couldn’t make out how they had been entangled with each other for now. Except the hard floor, there were the man's pectorals. Both of them were sweating profusely. The moisture seeping through the two thin layers of clothing blended. There was his strong heartbeat onto her back. Electra had a sudden absentminded feel. The skin on her back was burning. Her body began to get tensed subconsciously. “That was a good move.” Abel added, “Now, I'm going to teach you how to fight on the ground.” Elektra was stunned. She found that out of nowhere Abel had turned over, clipping her waist by his legs. She was totally controlled by him. The man's legs were slender and strong, pressing her head against his solid abdomen. Elektra got paralyzed. Something seemed to have caressed her face. In this posture... She suddenly realized what it was meant. A strange heat current came from her abdomen, as if it had been driven by electricity. Her move was obviously neutralized. Abel held her by one hand, pushing back. He raised legs again, putting on her shoulders. Draw back. Pull tight. Out of breath Elektra felt her neck would break in his hands. “Triangle Lock, one of the unique skills of Brazilian jujitsu. By the principle of triangle stabilization and with just a modest exercise of strength, you can easily subdue an adult male.” He let go of Elektra. When getting up he reminded her lightly, “Focus.” Elektra turned her eyes away. Abel pulled off the loose tie, handed it to Elektra and said, “If your hands are tied up, what will you do?” Elektra turned around and looked at him in surprise. Abel’s teaching today was somewhat weird. Apart from the fighting skills before, the so-called ground techniques and escaping from b*****e, in fact, are not often applied in actual combat. Because for anyone who are physically weaker like her, once they are pinned down, or tied up by the enemy, basically there will be no chance of victory. So she should be learning how to avoid this rather than... “Answer me.” His tone was serious. It seemed that this was going to be unavoidable. Elektra shook her head. "Hand." In a neat commanding tone, Abel dragged her wrists and tied a handcuff knot. Elektra was pushed to the ground. "If your hand are tied up in front of your body," Abel pulled the knot on her wrist, bent over and pressed down. The distance was very close - hot sweat being discharged the moisture. His breath scratching her neck. Elektra felt she almost lost her heartbeat. She was not a naive girl, but she instinctively felt threatened by being so close to the oppression of a man. When Abel came closer, she subconsciously pushed his chest. It was firm and tough, unspeakably hard. Somehow at that touch Elektra felt as if her palms had been scalded. She immediately took her hands back. “Wrong.” He grabbed her right hand and slowly pushed it down. “By the same force, hitting the ribs would be more useful than the chest.” The gloves were cold, but his hand was very big, covering Elektra's hand to the direction of his ribs and pressed. “Here,” he said, “The fourth to eighth ribs can be hit more easily.” Elektra's fingertips trembled slightly. She listened to his stern order, “Remember.” “Sure.” Elektra nodded with a tight throat. Till she realized, her hands had been picked up by him, and pushed over her head. She lay on her back, with her vulnerable parts completely exposed. Elektra kicked instinctively, only to find that she was unable to move an inch at all. A button on her blouse slipped off suddenly, revealing a marble white cleavage. Abel was so close, and in a condescending posture. From her worm’s-eye view, Elektra believed he might already have seen everything. However, his eyes were only tight for a second, and did not stop at that inviting white. “It’s not the time for your to use your legs, which is a waste of energy." He spoke with a deadpan face, patting her bent elbow. "Use this first. Try to force the opponent move because of evasive action." He moved to Elektra’s right side. When his hands holding her thigh, Electra felt a fantastic sensational numbness all the way from her back right through the place between her legs. She was startled, and raised her legs to avoid it. Her knee touched Abel’s waist. He nodded. "That's it. A little faster. A little composed. That’s your only chance to get him off you." “Don’t let it slip.” Abel let go of her hand and said, “You try again.” * Two weeks went by in a blink of eye. Soon it was the time for Murphy's thanksgiving dinner. Looking at the cinnamon color fringed gown delivered by the stylist, Elektra felt a sudden jump in her eyelids. If memory serves her correct, this dress is the new arrival of Marchesa’s spring high order, to highlight ethereal beauty and luxury. A strapless tulle is decorated with beaded tassels and delicate feathers. Tassels and feathers shake to the rhythms of steps. And with its intricate embroidery and flowing couturiers craftsmanship, the dress looks like a work of art. So… Abel wanted her to wear such a flamboyant outfit… to steal? Elektra frowned and was about to say something. Suddenly, she felt a touch on her hand: the underwear that she prepared to were had been taken away by the stylist. “There’s a lining in this dress. You don’t need to wear these.” “Well…how about my undies?” Elektra asked, trying to not give up the hope. The stylist looked at her scornfully. Her tone betrayed some impatience, “The fabric is too thin to bear any underwear. Can be seen through you know.” “So… we choose to wear nothing?” Finally, the patience was wearing thin. The stylist shoved the dress and a tube of depilatory cream into her hands and ordered, “Go put it on.” The dispute ended in Elektra's compromise. During all afternoon, she sat like a marionette in front of the mirror, letting herself be tossed about from head to toe. Beauty is skin deep, as the saying goes. But for Electra beauty goes deeper, to the bone and marrow, to the pith and soul. Usually her plain clothes could not conceal her dazzling glamour. Now, with a dress like this, even the stylist herself who was wont to see New York's fashion celebs could not help but marvel at the masterpiece of her own. "Come and look!" The chair was turned to face the mirror. The stylist's eyes glowed, but Elektra just glanced at herself calmly, and fetched out her hand and said, “Fire." "c***k-" The fire was extinguished with a slight noise. Elektra leaned on the porch. The sun had sunk. The blowing night wind made her feel cold. She crossed her arms. Overhead there was only one dim night-lamp. With the thin light sprinkling down, it could only light up her feet like a spotlight. Mist rose now. She was absent-minded. Steady footsteps came from behind. Elektra looked back: a man was walking in her direction. Electra couldn’t make out why the man’s second appearance would make her feel more unnatural and uneasy. Abel was so strange: locking her up in the manor meant that he did not trust her completely. But when they had fight coaching session, he seemed to be a most serious teacher, as if he had really nurtured her as a confidante. “Mr. Hill,” Elektra called him as they faced each other. Abel’s eyes fell to her hand. He looked at the half burned cigarette. Without asking, he took her cigarette away directly and snubbed it out in his hand. Elektra was startled by his indescribably bossy attitude. Her mind went completely blank for a moment. When she came to, the man's hand had already put on her waist. He took a step forward. He clasped her in one hand and caressed her faintly with the other. The man’s warm hand slid along her spine toward her inner thighs. There was a chill in the place between her legs. His fingers were dangerously close. Elektra suddenly recalled that below this thin gauze, there was no veiled feminine coyness.... "You..." Before she had finished the exclamation, she saw a cold light in Abel’s two fingers: that’s the dagger Elektra hid in the thigh belt for self-defense. “The party has the most advanced security system,” Abel’s voice was deep and cold, “Sometimes venerability is our most powerful weapon. Don’t play wise guy.” Elektra was choked by his words. Frustrated and humiliated she simply took the thigh belt off and thrust it on Able’s hand. But he was not angry at all. He held Elektra's shoulder, turning her around, and took off her necklace. “My necklace...” “I'll give it back to you.” A Baroque diamond necklace was put on her by Abel. He stopped just as he was about to leave. He turned around and looked at her for a second. His clear-cut outline was covered with a layer of shadow in the headlights coming far away. His eyes were misty and gray. He put Elektra’s necklace into his hand, and left a message distinctively when he faded away. “Bring things back.”
