Chapter 4 Kidnapped

What would you do if one day you were kidnapped off of the same streets you walked down every day knowing you couldn't get away nor hide, how would you feel? How would you escape?

The next morning when I got up I sat on the edge of my bed and I thought to myself about how I couldn't believe it's already been a month since we moved here and everything was going great I was back to my normal life again, we have a beautiful home, a new school, great friends and I even made dance team captain with my friend Justice and I'm getting straight A's.

I was getting my stuff together before the bell rings when I heard my phone.

Ding.

Unknown Caller- Good morning, I will see you very soon, I can't wait bye have a good day ." He said.

I got dressed and headed to school. When I got there I was almost late I got in the doors

right as the bell rang. When school was over I left and headed home when I had this feeling that someone was watching me, but when I looked around no one was there so I hurried home.

"Hey, how was school?" My mom asked.

Me- It was great mom," I said.

I went up to my room, cleaned it up, and watched a show.

Later that night my mom called me down for dinner, I went downstairs and sat down at the table.

"Mom this looks great, can't wait to eat," I said.

We talked as we ate, I couldn't help but think to myself how much I love moments like this us gathering together as a family, being able to talk about anything on our minds at that time.

When I was done eating I went back upstairs to my room, finished my show, and fell asleep.

The next morning when I got up, I got dressed and went to school.

When I got to school, Justice walked up to me before I went into class with a big smile on her face.

"Hey Indiana my mom said you could come over tomorrow after school for a few to hang out if you want to," she said.

"Sure let me talk to my parents tonight at dinner and ill text you after," I said.

"Okay," she said.

After school was over I went home, my mom must have a day off because she was the one watching shows she's always watching.

"Hey mom, you have the day off today?" I asked.

" Yes so I'm just relaxing with my shows, how was your day?" she asked.

"It was good, hey mom I was wondering if I could go to Justice's house tomorrow after school for a few hours, her mom said I could already so please?" I asked.

" Sure I don't mind I know her and her family and I like them so yes you can," mom said.

So I went upstairs to my room and texted Justice.

Me- Hey Justice I wanted to let you know my mom said I can come over so have a goodnight and I'll see you tomorrow

A few minutes later.

Ding.

Justice-Great! we're about to have so much fun, have a good night ;)

Later that night my mom called me down for dinner, I got downstairs, sat at the table and we ate. I told them about my day then I told my dad how I'm going over to Justice's house tomorrow.

"You are well have fun and be careful," dad said

"Yes honey that's the first thing please be careful, the second thing I didn't mention when we talked I you back here before it gets too late bad guys be out at night I want to be able to know your safe, so let's say 8:00-8:30 at the latest no later than that you hear me Indiana?" she said In an I'm not playing tone.

"Okay mom I hear you," I said.

After I was done eating I went back upstairs to my room and went to bed.

The next morning I got dressed. On my way out the door, I gave my mom a kiss on the cheek and told her I loved her then I headed out the door.

I went to my classes and then to dance practice for an hour after we were done Justice and I headed to her house. Now I wish I never excepted the invite because that's the day my worst nightmares began.

Justice and I got to her house, it was so beautiful.

We went inside and went up to her room. I sat in my favorite chair I always sit in and she hopped on the phone and ordered pizza after that she put on a movie, and she sat and we watched it. Halfway through we hear a doorbell, so she ran downstairs to get the pizza.

Ding.

Unknown Caller- SEE YOU VERY SOON

That scared me because I knew how it wasn't Justice joking with me but I wasn't going to let it ruin my day either so I ignored it.

A few minutes later Justice comes back into her room with a large box of pizza, she puts it down, puts it back on the movie and we began to eat.

When the movie was done we gossiped and laughed for a little bit, then Justice got up and put on some music and started dancing. She walks over to me, grabs my hand, and pulls me up to dance with her, so I got up and we both were dancing and had fun.

We were having so much fun I didn't realize that it was late, when I looked up at the clock it read 8:30 boy was I going to be in big trouble I thought to myself.

I walked up to Justice and gave her a big hug.

"Thanks for having me over but I'm past the time I was supposed to be home I have to book it, if I can I'll text you when I get a home bye," I said. Then I left.

I was fast walking trying to make it home, I got about three blocks when I noticed this black van with tinted windows coming towards me I kept walking but scared not knowing what it was about to do but the van just drove past me slowly and I began to fast walk again but faster.

I got about two blocks when I noticed the same black van driving towards me slowly again but this time I didn't think anything of it this time so I just kept walking this time the van drives right up to me and rolls down the window about an inch or two.

" Excuse me do you know where 12567 4th ave N is," He asked.

" No sorry I don't I just moved here," I said.

" Okay thank you," he said, as he started to drive off.

I started walking again, I got to my street and I remembered feeling happy but feeling anxious at the same time because I was home but I wasn't yet. I was a couple of houses down from mine when I noticed the same black van was coming towards me but this time quickly right then I knew this wasn't going to be good.

The fear creeping through my body was unexplainable. I've never felt this kind of fear in my life before. While my mind wants to scream and cry for help, my voice and my body just stayed frozen in place, in shock about what was about to happen.
