Woww.... this is superb. It is modernly design in the inside. I love all the big windows in front of the house. Giving the view of the sea from inside the house.

He is really trying hard to impress me. Hey! Just give the man a break for today and the same time you can enjoy yourself also. Just now, when he said his grandfather hope one day he will be spending his life with the love one here. Did he mean me? Or has he ever bring anyone else here.

“Xandra! Xandra!... are you okay?. You spacing out for a few minutes. Are you okay, baby?”, Gabriel worriedly asking me.

“I’m fine. Just lost in my thoughts”. And don’t call me baby. I’m not your baby. 

Don’t try to mess this day. I’m trying my hard to give this a pleasurable day for both of us. Daniel scrunch his forehead but did not say anything.

“Mr Carson, the lunch is ready”, Mrs Smith, the housekeeper informed. “Thanks Susan. And why suddenly Mr Carson? Where is Gabe?”, Gabriel pouted to her. “Well, I thought since there is someone here, I need to be formal, calling you Mr Carson”. She smiling to Gabriel. 

Gabriel hugging her with smile and turning her to me, “Susan, this is Xandra”. And whispering to her but I can fairly hear it..”the love of my life, the only one who has taken my heart away”. Susan eyes widen, and smiling broadly to me, hugging me in suprise. “Please to meet you. Have been hearing a lot about you sweet and I’m happy to see you today”. I just smile back to her not knowing what to do. She then pull me to follow her to the kitchen. Glancing to Gabriel, finding him smiling looking at Susan reaction. My eyes shock looking at the foods on the table. It is like a food fiesta. There’s a lot of food and all of it is my favourite. My stomach suddenly growl hungrily. My face blushing to hear that. Gabriel chuckles and putting his hand on my shoulder, “Lets eat. I think you have been hungry. Eat all you can and let me tell you, Susan is a superb cook. You should try all the foods”. Without further comment, he pull the chair for me to seat. “Susan, call Ben, lets eat together”, he gesture to Susan to call Ben.

The four of us eating and talking. The foods are delicious. Gabriel been putting a bit of everything into my plate for me to taste and it was ravishing. Ben and Susan has been telling stories about their young Gabriel. We all laugh for how mischievous Gabriel was at young age. How closed he was with the grandparents and the housekeepers. I love to see Gabriel’s laugh. The way his eyes pinching at the same time. He seems to be relaxed with Ben and Susan. The love entangled between them and from what I can see, he never treated them as the housekeepers. It’s more like his own relatives. Like his mom and dad. 

Hmmmm... I think that’s why Gabriel rarely talking about his parents. Most of his childhood was spent in this house with his grandparents.

Then I feel a hand touching mine,”Xandra... are you okay?”. Gabriel retorted. Taking my hand away, I just nodded. There is a glint of hurt in his eyes when he slip his hand back to his side. Looking up my head, I notice Ben and Susan looking at us wryly. I just smile at them and looking back to my plate, eating. Oh God! What have I done. For sure they can see the hurt in his eyes. I don’t know how to act. He had hurt me enough and he can’t just assume everything is okay already. Susan just smile back at me.

After we had our scrumptious lunch, I help Susan cleaning the dishes and tables. She hesitate but insist of helping her. I don’t like leaving her to clean the dishes where she has cooked all my favourite foods. Gabriel has gone to the living room. Suddenly Susan cautiously said,”Give him a chance. He suffered enough this few years. This is the first time I see him laughing and smiling after 4 years. His life is tough. Taking care the family business was never in his mind but after his father had a stroke, he took all the burden. Gabriel has been working hard thereafter, and has put the Company as one of the top 4 major establish company in the country. He is a billionaire but he’s lonely. The first 2 years after you left, he rarely came here. When he’s around, he seldom talk to us. Always in his study or his room. Last few months, he called me and said that he saw you again. I can hear the happiness in him”. She pat me on the shoulder, “Man has a huge ego. You need to break the ego to know the truth and another thing...... he never bring anyone here. And bringing you here today, I assume you mean a lot to him”, she smile at me. I just nodded to her but a the same time was quite shocked as it seems that she knew what happened between Gabriel and me.  Finding Gabriel stretching on the sofa in the living hall, never seen this side of him. I need to know what had happened.
