THE CONFESSION

Kyra made her way to the office where everyone was sitting, nervous she closes the door behind her

Kyra: "Before I say anything I need you all to place your guns on the table" she says and everyone looks at her confused and curious, they remove their guns and place it on the table, "And the back ups" she says looking at Yoongi and Jimin, they remove it and place it next to the others, "Only use it if necessary" she says and places hers on the table

Namjoon: "What do you mean if necessary?" he asks confused

Kyra: "I know you've done a background check on me but came up with nothing weird or out of the ordinary, that's because I hacked into the system while Jungkook was in the shower and removed everything linked to my father" she says as she rubs the palm of her hand with her thumb nervously

Jungkook: "You hacked my computer?" he asks angrily

Jimin: "Oh shut up, you know she's better than all of us at everything" he says to Jungkook

Kyra: "Anyway so my name isn't Kyra García, it's Kyra James and my fathers name is Michael James" she finally says

Hoseok: "Michael James as in our rival Michael James?" he asks shocked, and she just nods in agreement without hesitation everyone grabs their guns and points it at her but she doesn't budge

Jin: "Why are you here?" he asks, "Is it to get close to us and report back to your father?" he asks raging with anger

Kyra: "No, I did it all on my own" she replies expressionless

Taehyung: "Why?" he asks feeling betrayed

Kyra: "So I can figure out why you murdered my mom" she states

Yoongi: "Who says we murdered her?" he asks lowering his gun

Kyra: "My dad told me you did it to send him a message" she says with her eyebrows knitted together

Namjoon: "Your dad lied" he says and indicates for all of them to lower their weapons

Kyra: "Why would he lie?" she asks

Jimin: "Because we're his biggest rival, he thought if you got rid of us there wouldn't be any competition" he says sitting down next to Jin

Jungkook: "No wonder you're so good at everything"

Taehyung: "Of course, her father never wanted anything less than perfect" he adds on

Kyra: "If you didn't murder my mom then who did?" she asks confused

Jungkook: "Where was your mom killed?" he asks

Kyra: "Outside the restaurant on 3rd" she says

Jungkook: "Did you check the footage?" he asks her

Kyra: "No, I never thought it was important since my dad told me you guys did it, I was too stuck on revenge" she says and sits down cradling her head between her hands, Jungkook grabs the laptop from Namjoons desk and starts typing

Jungkook: "Do you remember the date?" he asks as he types

Kyra: "I'll never forget it, July 23rd 2007" she says staring at the ground, he places the laptop infront of her and shows her footage of two guys dumping her moms lifeless body behind the restaurant, her eyes fills up with tears and Taehyung who was beside her all this time rubs her back, "Wait" she exclaims and quickly wiped her tears

Taehyung: "What? What do you see?" he asks

Kyra: "I recognize him" she says and zooms in on the man's face then inhances it clearing the footage making his face visible, she feels her blood boil as she stares in silence

Hoseok: "I've never seen her that mad" he tells Yoongi whose next to him but she ignores their words and starts typing

Jungkook: "What are you doing now?" he asks as he stands next to her watching her type

Kyra: "Seeing which way the car came from" she says and she scans the database but it only shows a certain distance which the traffic cameras cover

Taehyung: "That's as far back as it goes, I don't think there are anymore cameras in the distance they came from" he says

Jungkook: "And we don't know what's that direction, it could be alot of things" he says

Hoseok: "An abandoned building maybe?" he adds

Yoongi: "Or stores?"

Kyra: "My house" she sighs and rubs her temples, everyone stares at her

Taehyung: "Do you think -" he's cut off before he can continue

Kyra: "Only one way to find out" she says and starts typing hacking into their home security system then scanning the files but footage from that day is deleted, "The footage is deleted" she sighs

Jungkook: "Get it back" he says and she just stares at him, "It's better when you type in pythons" he continues and she starts typing, a folder named 'July 23rd 2007' pops up and she hesitates to open it

Taehyung: "You don't have to watch it, we can watch it for you" he offers but she refuses

Kyra: "No, I have to watch it" she says and opens the folder and plays the footage around the time her mom was killed

It shows her mom and dad in his office what looks like arguing so she turns up the volume, her hands start shaking as she hears her mother voice for the first time in 14 years she shuts her eyes and let's the tears roll down her face as she listens to the footage

Michael: "She's my heir Vanessa! And she will take over this family business!" she hears her dad yell on the footage and finally opens her eyes to watch what happens

Vanessa: "She doesn't have to grow up in this life Michael! She can go to college and have a normal life! Don't ruin our daughters life because you wanna make a name for yourself in this f****d up world of yours!" she snaps

Michael: "She can have millions and have people respect her!"

Vanessa: "Like they so called respect you?!" she yells

Michael: "Think what you want but it's final, she's taking over the business" he yells

Vanessa: "I'm taking her and leaving, she doesn't deserve this! Until you decide that she should live a normal life you won't see your daughter again!" she yells and turns around to leave

*Bang*

A shot fired, Kyra sees her father holding a gun then lowering it as her mother drops to her knees holding her stomach

Michael: "You left me no choice" he says and finally her mother's body drops to the ground

In complete shock with tears rolling down her face Kyra starts at the laptop blurry eyed, Taehyung places his hand on her shoulder in order to comfort her

Taehyung: "Don't do anything without thinking it through" he says, as if his words sinks in she comes out of her zombie state and wiped her tears

Kyra: "I need to go lay down" she says and grabs her gun then makes her way out of the office, she goes to her room and sinks to the ground finally bursting into tear, there's a knock at her door but she doesn't answer

Taehyung: "Are you okay?" he asks on the opposite side of the door

Kyra: "I just wanna be left alone" she responds in a shattered voice completely heart broken, feeling helpless Taehyung leaves

She laid in bed thinking about everything her dad might have lied about and everything he put her through, "It's all for a reason" she thought with the scene of her dad holding the gun and her mom's lifeless body on the floor playing over and over in her mind. She falls asleep while imagining her mother's face infront of her smiling and saying these words "You know what to do"
