"Sup" Kevin says as he pulls Miranda into a hug. 

She looked around and noticed a black and white painting he created.

 She loved his artistic side.

 He seemed to be such a complex person.

 He could communicate so well through his art.

"Hey baby" Miranda smiled at him.

"I'm going over my parents house. I want you there."

"Okay cool" She said.

"Let me see what's up with Micheal ass. I wanna play ball".

"So listen I got work at noon. I'ma play a quick game then go to my family house".

Kevin started getting dressed. He yelled at Micheal to wake up.

"Nigga what?" Michael said.

"Come on man. Let's go to the court".

"I ain't dressed". Michael said

"Nigga borrow my s**t". Kevin threw clothes at him.

"Alright man". Micheal moved Rita off his lap.

They left in about twenty mins after smoking a blunt.

They dropped off Rita at work and Miranda at her apartment.

Rose called her on the phone.

"Long time no hear from". Rose said

It's been a couple weeks''. Miranda said

''Since you got with Kevin he take up all your time''. She said

''A lot going on. I found out he take pills for bi polar disorder''. Miranda said

''So he two niggas in one?.'' Rose asked

"He has trouble handling his feelings and his actions sometimes. Like the way he says things. Anyway he wants me to meet his family''. Miranda said

 ''His father has the same disorder. So this should be interesting. What your thinking about is like Schizophrenia''. She said

''Wow okay crazy''. Rose said

 ''I'm doing the single thing still. I changed my hair. No more curls either''. She said

''Aww let me see". Miranda said

"Hold up. I will text it''. Rose said

''My hair still the same. I may change my hair maybe''. Miranda said

''I gotta go get ready to meet the his fam today. Talk to you later''.

''Yep''. Rose said hanging up.

Miranda took a shower and brushed her hair.

Kevin called her right after.

''I'm going to come get you Bae in about an hour.

I'm almost done whooping Michael ass''.

Okay Baby. Miranda laughed

"I beat yo' ass nigga". Kevin said.

"Naw you didn't". Micheal knew Kevin got him by a couple of points.

"Anyway what's up for the day?". Micheal asked while drinking water and sitting on a bench.

"Miranda gon' meet my parents".

"Ok. Ok." Micheal said.

"I got work later". Kevin said

"Wash my clothes you wearing. Give me my s**t on yo' own time. I'm bout to go to Miranda house".

"Alright nigga" They dapped each other up and went in different directions.

"Miranda it's yo nigga.  Come here girl''. he said laughing

Kevin was banging on the door.

"Kevin hold up". She said

 Miranda opened the door quickly.

Kevin grabbed her and put his tongue in her mouth and hugged her from behind.

"You want to give me a quickie?". He said

"No" Miranda said

"What about head?" Kevin smiled at her.

"No" Miranda laughed.

Kevin started pouting.

"You want to try anal with me for the first time Baby Boo?".

"Kevin! No." Miranda walked away from him and put on her shoes.

She grabbed her purse.

"Fine". He sucked his teeth

They drove in silence.

"Hey baby" Renee said while answering the door.

Kevin introduced his mom to Miranda.

They walked in the house and joined Kevin's father Mark in the kitchen.

"Hey dad" Kevin hugged him.

"I'm Miranda nice to meet you".

"Hello" He said then he sat at the table.

"I hear good things about you. You not a hoe. That's good." He said.

" Hoes always following around my son. Like that b***h Shitaki Mushroom".

"You talking about Shannon Munchins!. Haha! She still on me dad".

"Wow" Miranda and Renee said in unison. 

They smiled at each other.

Renee brought breakfast to the table.

"I'm glad he met you. You seem very nice".

"Thank you". She said

They hugged each other.

"You doing ok dad". Kevin looked at him with a sad expression.

"I'm hanging in there" Mark rubbed his head. 

He missed his hair.

"How are you mom?" Kevin smiled at her.

"I'm hanging in there to always". She smiled back.

They ate together and his parents asked him about his plans for the day.

"I have work today. We will talk later." Kevin and Miranda headed out the door.

Miranda's job called her asking if she could work a shift earlier than her usual overnight shift.

"It's busy here at this time. We could use the help. A lot of sad people I guess." Pam said

"I will let you know when I'm on my way". She hung up the phone and put on her seatbelt.

"Who dat?" Kevin asked pulling out the driveway.

"The owner Pam asked me to work in the day".

"Oh aight"

"Let's take a nap before we both go to work" He said

"I'm low on energy". Kevin said

Kevin took her home. They laid in the bed.

Kevin dropped her off after their nap. He still had time to kill before noon.

He played basketball online against Micheal.

"Got you nigga!. I gotta go to work Mike".

"Peace". Micheal said

Kevin made sure he got all the money for the register.

 The record store was called The Warehouse and it had cds and old records stacked up everywhere.

"Thanks for being on time today". Tim said while laughing.

"Yep got you bro". Kevin dapped him up.

Tim was the owner son and was only three years older than Kevin.

They helped each other because it was so busy. Made the day go faster.

Girls was flirting with him. He thought about Miranda.

He left work around eight at night.

Kevin's Perspective

I'ma go see my girl. Missing her.

I get there and some nigga talking to her. 

She look upset.

"What's the problem?" Kevin looked at both of them.

"This Ricky and he was leaving," Miranda rolled her eyes.

"So you the ex?. I'm the new nigga. Leave her alone motherfucker". He snapped

"Man I'm not done talking to her". Ricky was bold.

"Yeah you are!". Kevin said then he started punching him.

Blood came from Ricky's nose.

 Miranda tried to break it up. No one listened.

Ricky hit Kevin in the jaw. They was on the floor now.

"Ricky stop". Miranda yelled.

"Kevin I need a break". "Just Go," Miranda said.

Kevin got up then begged Miranda to talk to him.

She waved him away. 

Her boss rolled her eyes and went back in her office.

Ricky walked off.
