Kevin texted Miranda around noon.
After he took his medication Kevin felt less anxious.
He wanted her to like him because she was so fine to him.
He couldn't wait to see her.
Kevin lit a black and mild while he waited for her to text him back.
He wondered if she remembered their plans.
This dude mind was always racing.
He knew smoking would calm him down but only for a short while.
His mother called him soon as he started smoking he put it in the ashtray.
She did not like him smoking.
Kevin did not care at all about that.
He did what he wanted.
"Hey! Are you doing okay?". His mother would always ask.
She knew of his condition.
The patterns were similar to his father but not exactly the same.
"Yes mom I'm fine''. He said
''How are you? How is dad?". He would always ask.
"He's okay the medicine made him lose some hair. He is very upset about it. He threw the medicine and his brush against the wall".
"Now he's drinking downstairs cursing at some football guy on t.v". She said
"I'm going over to a girl’s house today but that's all". He said changing the subject for a moment.
"I need to talk to dad. This is shitty that he's losing his hair". Kevin said
"Let him calm down and talk to him after your date''.
''By the way what's her name?". Renee asked
"Miranda". He said
"How nice’’. Renee said
‘’Is she your girlfriend?". She said
"No, I just met her’’. Kevin said
‘’She is contacting me now. I have to go love you". He said
"Okay talk to you later". Renee said
She hung up first.
‘’’How are you?’’ Kevin said
‘’I'm good. Rose is a mess. Her boyfriend Marco is cheating on her again. She been at my house all night crying and mad. I'm tired been up with her’’. Miranda said
‘’Wow why that nigga be cheating?’’ Kevin asked
‘’And I'm sorry you're tired’’.
‘’You want to cancel?’’. Kevin said disappointed
‘’I don't know. Rose always takes him back anyway’’.
‘’No. I have an energy drink here’’. She said
‘’Come over in twenty mins. Here is the address: 1533 hard wood lane. It is in pine city close to Rose house’’.
“Bring swim shorts. It's a pool by my apartment. Then maybe get something to eat’’. Miranda told him
’’Hard wood! Ok on my way’’. He said
‘’Yes and don't be childish’’. Miranda said
‘’Bye’’. Miranda smiled before hanging up the phone.
‘’Yep’’ He said hung up the phone.
