“Preston, please go away.” He had his hands in his pocket, a frown on his face as he watched the doctor check her blood pressure. The doctor whispered to the nurse beside him, the same one that had ushered Genevieve in earlier, and she scribbled something down on her notepad. The doctor nodded to Preston Norman and then walked out of the room. Anna buried her face in the pillow on the bed to avoid her brother’s death stare, but Preston knew that she would need air in less than half a minute and so he waited for her to raise her face.
