The Avenue lit up at night, the fae lights sparkling in between the branches of trees, twisting up the trunks to light the path to our destination. ‘Lady Fairspen’ Rhydien greeted me in the entrance hall no sound of commotion to imply a large gathering. In fact, there was nothing to suggest who else would be here tonight. I was stunned, peering up at his highness sauntering down the marble and iron railed staircase.
