True to his word I was awoken just before dawn. I hadn’t the chance to say farewell to our guests and apologise for the disaster that only occurred because I’d been the one to ruin it. Instead, I had been ushered upstairs to a set of chambers that would be my new base of operations. Left alone, whilst my companions who’d been enjoying themselves were sent to collect our things from the house in the middle of the night.
