The next day, I was invited to join their family for lunch before her family's travel back to their own residences. When I was about to get ready for that event my mother called.
"Hey, Mom, what's with this surprise call?" I asked as I answered my mom's call.
"Hmp! Do you still consider me as your mom?" she asked back, a little angry. I furrowed my eyebrows with her tone because I got confused with her.
"Is there something wrong, Mom? Why are you being so grumpy?" I asked, half joking. I just wanted to try lightening her mood. But I heard her sighed harshly instead.
