Betty didn't bother meeting James again, she simply went to meet his mother.
"What did he say?" Agnes asked, curiosity flickering in her eyes. "Is he leaving?"
"I didn't speak to him," Betty responded with a sigh.
She was about to tell Agnes that James was trying to get back with Amanda, but she held back. Betty wanted to handle everything on her own because her ways might be too extreme for Agnes to accept.
Betty was ruthless and would do anything to have her way, she doubted if Agnes would support her in everything.
"Err… I think that it would be better if you talked to him. I doubt that he would listen to me. He can't even stand the sight of me," She sighed sadly.
Agnes didn't like her response or the situation, but she understood.
