"James," I gasped, unable to blink or move from thd spot I stood.
James had seen her from afar and that was why he stepped out of his car. When he noticed that she had seen him, he walked to her with a neutral smile.
Amanda, who was frozen on the spot, wondered if he was an illusion or her thoughts had finally driven her mad.
James reached her and his gaze lingered for a few moments before he spoke.
"Amanda," He called her name in such a way that electrified her. He had this special way of mentioning her name, making her feel like a lightening bolt had zapped through her.
"W-What are you doing here?" She asked, breathlessly.
"I came to say thank you for saving my life that day," James said, partially telling the troth. "I didn't get a chance to show my appreciation,"
