"Man, this fruit is so sour," Isaac said, deadpan.
"Ugh, this bread's stale," Lemuel said. "Don't buy this brand again."
Fernando just smiled. He wiped a smudge of sauce off my lip, then piled more food onto my plate. "Eat up, baby. Once you're full, I'll take you to get your payback."
"Payback?" I blinked, caught off guard.
