Episode 5

I told mother how he would come to my room every night and do things to me but of course he denied saying he would never do such a thing

He made a lie saying that when mother was working I went to there room and went to him but he pushed me away and apparently I got offended. He said whenever we were alone i would try to in him over and crew with him but he always rejected. Can you believe this prick!

Mother ended up being on  the same sides with Earl and sad I did all that because of father.  She slapped me that day for the first time

I tried telling her but she didn't listen to me and screamed at me to go to my room. After how she reacted, I decided to sneak out and leave and never come back because I couldn't take the abuse anymore.

Though that was four years ago , the pain still tattooed, so far there hasn't been any progression

A YEAR AGO FROM NOW

'Where is my money' Boris shouted from outside

Oh no! The landlord, I gasped

'You said you would pay me today. Answer me' he shouted

I opened the door to tell him to give me a few more days

'Your rent is overdue. You owe me $500!Pay up now' he gritted out

'But I only have $150, please gave me two more days and I promise I will have your money by then' I pleaded giving him the money I had

'This is not enough, I am going to give you two more hours and if you don't have it within that time you are out of the building' he shouted and left the house

'Great' I said my heart beating

Time to go to work

My circumstances were beyond repairable, being alone in this big cold world without any support

'What am I gong to do? I have no financial stability, no family and my rent is three weeks overdue.. If this continues, not only am I going to be broke but homeless too

I hurried to work before my boss slaughtered me

When I reached at the bar, I was a few minutes late and the boss shouted at me but afterwards I went out and started serving

6 hours later I was cleaning and the bar was getting closed Suddenly a woman who was dressed in an expensive looking dress came to me and when I told her we were closing she gave me $100 dollars saying I had done a good job which was kind of weird

She then told me that she worked at a Gentleman's Club down the road and gave me a card to work there. At first I didn't want to because I wasn't into all that type of things

Even though I had a job they paid low wages which would never be enough to pay rent so I had no choice but to try and start working at The Gentleman's Club or would be homeless

I ended up making a thousand dollars in a night which was a surprise for me. If it was my old job I would make a thousand in a month and few more days and only if I was working everyday

I continues working there and was able to pay my rent and for special needs from that day till now

PRESENT DAY

'Breaktime over' I said as I checked my phone

I straightened myself out and went outside towards the stage and did my normal routine. Everything was normal until I was Rick

Rich was my old perverted neighbour that always tried getting in my pants but I would always reject him obviously. I got out of the stage and ran to the Diamond to tell her to kick him out. She asked for a reason and I told him he was a pervert and was obsessed with me which he was and I didn't feel comfortable being there with him

She nodded her head and told some guards to kick him out which I was deeply greatful for

'Anything for you honey. And besides, we have made serous dough tonight thanks to you' she said

'Really how?' I asked 

'Yes, the men love you. Pebbles used to be everybody's fav until you showed up' she said

'No wonder he hates me'  I  thought

'Well  am glad  have been of good use' I said sarcastically and we both laughed

I was meant to take a taxi because I knew Rick would be waiting outside but Diamond offered dropping me off and I didn't mind because I would save money 

A few minutes later we used the back door and walked towards Diamond's car

'Wow nice car!' I sad my eyes gleaming

'Thanks, my husband can be adorable sometimes' she said with a smile on her face

(If she only knew the truth about her husband)I thought

'Something on your mind?' she asked concerned

'Nothing, just zoned out. I'm quite tipsy' I said

We got in and Diamond left the private carpark and Diamond started driving 

Suddenly, there was a loud bang on the window which made Diamond and me to look what it was

'I have been waiting for you Elanor. Don't leave me hanging' Perverted Rich shouted through the making us gasp

'Diamond step on it' I shouted at her

'You don't have to tell me twice' she said turning the gear and driving rapidly

Good thing I told her about Rick cause God knows what would have happened if  went home alone

'That man s a lunatic an your neighbour, right?' she said

'Unfortunately' I said sighing

'If you want I can get someone to teach him a lesson' she said

'What do you mean by that'  said my eyes widening

'He is a stalker Elanor, someone has to teach him a valuable lesson' 

'In retrospect, him living next to you is dangerous' she said

'You're caring me' I said pouting' 

I am sorry but you have to keep your guard up when you have someone like that on your case' 

'Look, my husband knows some people that can deal with him' she said

'You mean kill him' I said shrieking 

'What type of person do you think I am? of course not' she said making me regret for saying that

'Just someone who can rough him up a bit...you know...threaten him so he will stop stalking you

'I see. Teach him a lesson' I said

'And let the games begin' she said making us both giggle

'I feel like a bad ass' I said with my hands on hips

'Oh shush girl, we freaking slay together' she said

A few minutes later we were outside my house and I thanked Diamond for dropping me off

'In the future would you like me to give you a lift' she said

'Really you would do that to me, do you expect me to give you money? name your price' I said

'Girl stop' she said rolling her eyes

'Wow...thanks Diamond, I cant believe you would do that for me' I said smiling

'Of course! Us girls gotta have each other's backs' she said

Diamond is sweet and caring. The fact that I know she would go out of her way to help me made me like her more. But knowing that Mr Moretti is cheating on her with Pebbles and possibly other women...It was eating me up inside

She deserves to know, but then again, its not my place to involve myself in her personal life

'Diamond, I am struggling to find the right words to say this but... A few nights ago, I saw Mr Moretti and Pebbles making out. I didn't want to say anything at first but you deserve to know' I said shyly

'Men can be dogs' I said

'Is that all' she said making me gasp

'What do you mean?' I asked 

'I know he is cheating on me c'mon its so obvious' she said making my eyes widen

'YOU KNDEW ALREADY? HOW ARE YOU OKAY WITH THIS!?' I screamed

'yup' she said sounding not bothered at all

'Ok, I know its none of my business nut, WHY ARE YOU STAYING WITH HIM?' I asked 'You deserve better'

'Oh trust me, I do' she shrugged

'I am leaving him for good in a couple of days. He doesn't know and I have no intention of telling him' she said

'What' I said in shock

'Please keep it a secret. 'm leaving to NY to start a new life without him. I owe it to myself' she said

'Wow! Well as long as you're happy, you're secret is safe with me' she said

'Hey, I wouldn't mind having a roommate' she said looking at me

'You can tag along if you want' she said

'Sorry but I have to pass on that offer' I said

'Suit yourself' she said

I said my goodbyes and went to my apartment had a shower then changed into my pjs getting ready for bed. Before heading to bed, I am made sure to securely lock my door to avoid intruders then switched off the light

NEXT DAY

I woke up and changed into my jogging clothes and went out for a run. While I was running a came towards a poster With a help wanted Heading on it which was curious to me and I decided to stop and read it

'The Poster said'

No experience needed! I smiled wildly

I took the poster deciding to apply. THs would be the perfect opportunity for me! It's always been my dream to be a host

Though the location is an hour away, it is still worth it. Besides, anything beats stripping. Who knows if I do get a job they might promote me

'I need to reply asap. Ok so when does the vacancy expire!'

'The vacancy expired tomorrow' I gasped my eyes widening

Oh god then that means  must travel today!

'Time to update and print my resume and head to NYC' I said in my head

I walked in the café and went on the computer

It was so easy at the start asking for my name and etc

'Obvs am not going to mention the fact that I strip. That would deffo ruin my chances' I thought

'Though its not compulsory to have experience within the media industry, it may help if I was to lie to increase my chances'
