There wasn’t much to the room. It was a twelve by twenty space with a bed against the wall and a nightstand next to it with an envelope on it. There was a small mirror nailed to the wall and a cabinet under it. A wardrobe was pushed against the opposite wall and there was a door leading to the bathroom. Next to the bed was a window with powder blue drapes and sunflowers on them. When I flicked the light switch I was able to make out a wallpaper with flowers on one wall and that’s all my quarters consisted of. Stepping inside my room, I made my way to the nightstand and picked up the envelope. It had my name typed on it and I quickly opened it and read through my list of chores which mainly involved Aston and everything related to him. I carefully folded the list and tucked in the pocke
