The staff dining room was obviously smaller than the main dining hall but it was still big compared to what I imagined. Two long rectangular tables occupied the majority of the space with benches on either side for us to sit on. Windows occupied the entirety of one wall and a couple of picture frames sat on the other. The atmosphere was warm and cozy due to the fireplace and the heat coming from the kitchen. “Hey! Over here!” My head whipped to the right to see Amy waving me over. “Come sit. I saved you a seat.” With the reluctant smile I went and sat down beside her. “Thank you,” I said. “Don’t worry about it. By the way, what is your name?
