“It looks like everyone is on the same level right now,” Princess Marina said as they looked on the screen in front of them. All of them were being monitored. All the teams already knew their missions. They were already teaching each other’s elements.
“Hey, it is master Pear!” Princess Prairie excitedly said as she focused her sight onto the one person on the screen. Princess Prairie was still on her twenty years old and all of the competitors were in the age from twenty-four to twenty-five.
Pear was a twenty-five-year-old man. Just like other competitors, he was also a master in Regnum Terra’s Academe. He ranked first on their assessment. Pear was a man whom Prairie looked up to.
“He is so cool,” she commented in awe.
Prairie and his teammates were in the part of the forest where they were surrounded with plants. He was teaching them the earth element.
“As terra, this is the first thing you should learn first, you need to be grounded at all times. Let your body feel the ground and let the ground feel you, as well. Terra’s were also not only limited to rocks and the ground. We can also connect with the plants on the area.” Pear said as he walked slowly back and forth. His teammates were sitting on the ground. Their shoes were all on the side.
“Controlling plants would usually take a long period of time however, if you just know how to listen for their call, understand what they want, and established a good relationship with them, you wouldn’t have any problem with it,” he added.
Prairie sighed. “He really is so cool.”
“Stop admiring a competitor, Prairie. That would affect your decision making and would inflict a biased,” Idalia stopped and smile.” And beside, you have no chance on him,” Idalia said stopping Prairie from her ambition.
Prairie pouted. “You are cruel.”
Idalia just shrugged her shoulders as a response.
“What is Zale doing right now, anyway? Don’t tell me he was avoiding his duty?” asked Idalia while looking at Marina.
“He is not, Idalia. In fact, he is doing his duty right now. A letter from the elders arrived saying that Prince Zale is working right now in an investigation. It says there that it would take him days to finish. So right now, the competition is up to us.” Marina smiled.

“If I’ll be able to manage to become one of the kings, I’ll surely change the system,” Alistair complained. He lied down on the ground, defeated.
Calyx looked at him and laughed. “Why?”
“Why not just teach all of the elements to the children at once? That would not very difficult for a child. They can adapt easily.”
Birch stood above him. “Have you ever read a book about the whole kingdom? There was a reason why we were only taught to control one element.”
Alistair sat up from laying. “I know that. There would be still an advantage though if we were taught to control all of the elements as a child. If that was implemented thirty-five years ago, that would not be a problem right now, “he combed his hair to brush out the wetness. “Look at her, she is devastated as well.” said Alistair referring to Sera who was on a distant, sitting on a big rock and resting her chin on her hands while looking on the horizon blankly.
Aside from Calyx, none of the three – Sera, Birch, and Alistair - can manipulate the water for now. They were now resting and trying to regain their energy since the water from the stream suddenly formed consecutive big waves. Leed commanded them to resist it and should remain standing still.
Leed walked towards Sera’s location and hander her with a food. “Eat. You should not starve yourself and if you are worried about not being able to control the element immediately then you should stop that. It took my days to control water. “
Sera looked at him and gladly accepted the food. “Is that so?” asked Sera uninterestedly.
Leed felt that she was uninterested so he decided to give her some time.
Sera thew a rock to the stream.
It was not about that she was not being able to control the water earlier. It was about the images that she had seen when the wave of stream got her and brought her underwater. She was confused whether it was a piece of her memories or not. She had already saw that while doing a bath before coming to the competition.
Some children. Fire. Does it mean something, she thought.
She ate the food that Leed lend to her. She didn’t notice that it was already afternoon. They would surely go back on their training once all of their energies were restored. All they did this morning was to connect with the water but they failed. The water seemed to be not liking them. They kept attacking them with big waves.
Sera looked at her teammates and they have their own little world as well. Leed playing with the water on the stream. Calyx and Alistair sitting down and resting. While Birch, was on a tree reading something.
Sera leaned on the big rock. If it was time for them to be trained by her. Where would they train? The forest was surely very afraid of the fire. Right now, all the team members might be thinking on how effective would they be able to teach their team mate. As they were all masters of the academe, failing to teach your teammates the element would be a disgrace to yourself. You should not be called a master if your students would be able to manifest the element that you teach them.
“Are you all ready?” Leed shouted.
All four of them stood up and walked towards him. Leed looked at Calyx. “You should help everyone to control all four base element.”
“With your help, we would be able to hasten everything.” Leed added.
