Kate's POV
I got to school and made my way straight to class. I couldn't tell why, but I was having this nagging feeling in me that something bad had happened to someone that I love.
Immediately, I called Grandma Quinn, to know if everyone was fine at home. Even though I dislike my parents and siblings, I wouldn't want anything bad to happen to them. I wanted them alive. I don't mind if we fight all the time or something, but I just wanted them alive.
“Hello, Grandma Quinn?” I said as soon as she picked up.
“Hey, pumpkin, do you miss me so soon?” She asked with a teasing tone, but I chuckled lightly.
“Of course, grandma. I miss you, but that's not why I'm calling you,”
“You little piece of s**t!” She huffed. “You just hurt my poor heart!”
