My brother's smirk grew as he took another step closer to me. “Oh, Kate. Yes, I am so predictable. Do you think you can just tell me to leave you alone and I'll obey? You seem to have forgotten who you are and what I am capable of doing,” he chuckled lightly.
“You are just a weak, pathetic b***h who can't even shift into a werewolf properly. You are a wolf-less b***h,”
I felt a surge of anger at his words, but I tried to keep my cool. I didn't want to give him the satisfaction of getting under my skin.
If he has the slightest idea that his words were getting to me, I'll be done for, because he won't even hesitate to harass me further. “I'm no longer afraid of you, Gerald,” I lied, trying to appear more courageous than I truly was.
