I stood up from the bed, taking a deep breath as I gazed down at Annabelle. She had fallen asleep, her chest rising and falling with each gentle breath. I smiled softly, feeling a sense of tenderness wash over me.
Using the sheets, I carefully covered her, making sure she was comfortable.
When I was done, I walked out of the ward and made my way straight to my Grandma's ward. I walked into her ward, a bright smile on my face.
It feels good to know that my grandma didn't die. She is alive and I can't thank Annabelle enough.
