“See you later, Grandma Quinn,” I pecked her on her cheeks before turning to face Annabelle. I did the same thing to her.
“Take care of yourself, Katie,” She smiled at me and I ruffled her hair before making my way to the door, but Grandma Quinn called me back.
“Wait a minute, Kate. The driver will take you,” she said, but I tilted my head to the side to see my parent's reaction. And of course, they didn't disappoint.
“She can't take the car, Mother,” My mother hissed, but Grandma Quinn rolled her eyes.
“That's nonsense!” She hissed. “Kate is taking the car and that's final,”
