I got to school in no time and I made my way straight to Gerald's office. I know for sure that he would have been looking for me since I didn't come to school today.
When I got to his office, he wasn't there and I was about to leave when I saw him approaching. He had a stern look on his face.
“Good day, Gerald,” I greeted but he just scowled at me.
“What's good about the day, Chris? Why weren't you in school today?” He asked as he made his way into the office. I walked closely behind him like a lost puppy.
“Something came up,” I answered curtly but he scoffed. He took his seat, while I just stood in front of him like a boy who was being scolded by his mother.
