I ended the call with the police and looked up at Kate, who was still watching me with a mixture of shock and disbelief. I couldn't blame her though. I had just turned my family in for their crimes.
That's betrayal in the highest order.
That was something I'd never dream of doing. My parents would go mad, but who cares?
