We lost her Gerald's POV: I stood there, my face contorted into a smile as I congratulated my mother and sister on a job well done. What the hell was happening to me? I was supposed to be happy that Kate had finally been eliminated, but deep down, I wasn't happy. I was dying. I felt like I was suffocating under the weight of my guilt. Kate can't be dead, right? She's a fighter - has always been a fighter. She's the strongest woman I know on earth. She has survived everything that she went through in my family. No matter what we did to her, she never died, in fact, she never broke down. Instead, she became stronger and stronger. She's a fighter. So she can't be dead, right? I don't know if I was trying to console myself or something, but I wanted to believe that she was not dead.
