Together, my Beta and I walked towards the Courtroom. As we walked away, my heart was in my throat. I couldn't shake the feeling of fear no matter how much I tried.
“Take a deep breath and relax, man,” Ray whispered but I shut him out. Now is not the time to calm down. Now is not the time to be relaxed.
I'm currently in a hot spot. Anything could happen to me. The walk from the pack house to the Courtroom was just ten minutes and ten minutes later, we were in front of the door.
