“Wait up, Karl,” I stopped Karl right in time and he turned around to stare at me.
“Will you leave just like that? Without having your revenge on the fucker?” I asked. He stared at Ryker and his mate too.
“I see no reason to have any revenge on him. Maya made her choice and I can't force her to accept me and as for Ryker, I can't beat him up for this. It seems like I was an intruder all along,”
“I see,” I said as I glared at Ryker too. “But you seem to have forgotten why we came here. Are you gonna change your mind now?”
His lips curved into a sinister smile. “Of course not, Alpha. We still have to kill him for what he did to Annabelle and we still have to get your money from him too,” He said as he began to walk closer to Ryker.
