“She isn't allowed to enter the car,” My father said through gritted teeth just when I was about to enter the car with Mari.
“Then I'll stay at home.” I intercepted and Mari just pinched me in my arms. I glared at her before taking my eyes back to my father.
“You are becoming something else, Kate, and trust me, you will regret it,”
I rolled my eyes at him as I stared at the gate instead. If they were not gonna allow me to take the car with Mari, then I'd just stay at home.
“Please don't be angry, father. You know I was the one who asked her to come with me. It wouldn't make any sense if she took public transport. Just let her come with me. Please” She pleaded as she placed her hands together in the form of a plea.
