“How could you do such a thing? Annabelle doesn't know anywhere around,” I said, my voice rising, but my mother scoffed.
“And who cares about that witch? She's gone and that's all that matters,”
“She's not gone. I'll find her and bring her back.” I vowed as I walked out of the house, determined to find Annabelle.
'You won't ever find her' My brother's taunting voice sounded in my head over and over again. I was determined to prove them wrong.
Goodness! I had been searching everywhere, but there was no sign of Annabelle. I couldn't even see anyone that looked like her.
“I'm so sorry, Anna. I couldn't protect you even though I promised you protection. I'm so sorry,” I said, my voice trembling with tears.
