“Kate!” Annabelle's shrill voice boomed in the room as soon as I got into my room. She wrapped her arms around me and I chuckled as I patted her head.
“How do you do, Anna?” I asked her.
“I'm fine. I'm glad you are back. I was missing you,” She said and I chuckled again.
“I missed you too, my love. I couldn't wait to get back to meet you. How was your day today?”
“With your grandma around, it was good. She told me a lot of stories about her, when she was a teenager, how she found her mate and other stories too. She's such a vibe. I love her. Gosh! I wished she was my grandma,”
