Chapter 4. Drunk and Rude

1550 Words
CHAPTER 4: (Drunk and Rude)   Cameron Connie T. James is not a very strong person. Physically. Sure, she has a slightly bigger frame than most women, but that doesn't mean she has any advantage on strength. No, not really. And, as she carried a non-cooperative body towards her front door, she also realized that she also doesn't have any endurance whatsoever. Feeling her body starting to spasm in resistance to hard work, she put all her effort into dragging the body along with her. She felt the ground sway beneath her feet and she cursed herself for even drinking. Finally, she reached the door and knocked, feeling a bit stupid for doing so. Because who the f**k knocks on their own house? Cee reached for her house keys inside the pocket of her jeans and tried to actually get her key into the keyhole. After several failed attempts, she finally got it into the slot --turning it and unlocking her door successfully. At the same time, she heard some mumbling from the person she was carrying. "-soooo drunnk." Drunkedly chuckling, she entered her house and locked the door, thanking herself for putting her magazines away earlier that day. She didn't want the person she was carrying to ask questions in the morning. That, or accuse her of being a stalker, which or course, she is not. She really isn't. She made her way to her room and carefully laid the very drunk Natasha on her bed. How did this even happen, she asked herself. Shaking her head, she recalled what had happened at Spiral. -Flashback- "You look familiar," Cee casually said to Natasha, "Haven't I seen you before?" "Yes, that's why I don't go there anymore," Natasha replied, smirking at the other woman's attempt to pick her up. Honestly, she's heard worse. Cee merely giggled at Natasha's comeback and easily slid on the seat beside the chef. "How you doin' this fine night?" At that, Natasha laughed softly, shaking her head. "Really?" Cee smiled, laughing along. "What?" she innocently asked. "Nothing," Natasha shook her head, somewhat bemused. "You aren't very good at it, are you?" "At what?" Cee asked again, admiring the playful glint in Natasha's eyes. "Flirting." Natasha answered bluntly. Cee's cheeks flushed. "Am I that bad?" "I've heard worse, honestly," Natasha replied, sipping on her drink. "Soooo," Cee started again. "Why are you by your lonesome?" she gestured to the rest of their companions dancing and drinking in small groups. At that, the curly-haired goddess shrugged. "I prefer the company of myself." Well, that sounded a bit stuck-up, Cee thought. "How about you stick with me for the night?" Cee offered, grinning. An eyebrow raised. "Seriously?" "And then some more. I'll let you know I know how to please a woman." Then Cee winked at her. "Oh? Then can you PLEASE leave me alone?" "Oh come on babe, don't be like that," Cee laughed softly and gently pulled Natasha up and away from the table, holding her by the wrist gently. Natasha groaned quietly, but let Cee drag her to the rest of her colleagues. She wanted to, but she couldn't say no to Cameron. Saying no to Cameron would be like saying no an impossibly cute toddler. And yes, she just made fun of Cameron's baby face. "Hey Dinah, look who I found," Cee said to the blonde who was currently doing shots. The blonde faced them, obviously a little buzzed already, judging from the dopey look on her face. "Miss Natasha! Hey. Wait, here's for you," and then she called the attention of the bartender and asked for another shot. Grinning, she handed it to Natasha. Natasha looked at it like it was going to bite her. "Go on," Cee urged the woman beside her. Natasha shook her head and downed the shot, face scrunching up at the aftertaste. She hated drinking, but loved the buzz. "Well, looks like you're going to have some real fun after all," Cee teased. Natasha could only nod as she was handed another drink. And another. And another after that. -EoF- Well, Cee-cee got what she wanted. Natasha did seem to have fun. But she didn't expect Natasha to be such a lightweight. Seriously, she took like four shots and a few cocktails. Cee didn't know where the gorgeous woman actually lived, and she was already feeling pretty drunk, so she pulled the other woman close and they hopped into a cab and into Cee's place. Cee adjusted Natasha's head on her pillow and took her heels off. Then she quickly got some aspirin and water and put it on the nightstand. She took a long, final look at Natasha, smiling softly before leaving her room and crashing on her couch. The morning found Natasha disoriented and confused. She was in an unfamiliar room. Groggily, she stood up, the smell of bacon prompting her to. She saw the bathroom and feebly washed her face. She was feeling a little dehydrated, but she felt fine. She was never the one to have terrible hangovers. She sighed and looked at what she was wearing, surprised. It was the same as last night. This isn't Natasha's first time waking up in someone else's house after a night out, but it was her first time doing so fully clothed. But then she remembered that the chubby fashion photographer had taken her home. Natasha smiled slightly. The woman was harmless. She got out of the room and followed the smell, soon hearing Ed Sheeran playing softly on the stereo. She found Cameron with her back to her and flipping what seems to be eggs and bacon. Natasha watched curiously as Cameron slowly swayed to the music. Realizing she had stared enough, she cleared her throat. Cee, having heard it, turned around and saw a make-up-less Natasha standing by the doorway. She still looked as gorgeous as ever, Cee thought. Immediately, she smiled brightly. "Good morning, rude person!" She chuckled and leaned back on the counter. "How are you feeling?" Natasha shrugged. "Fine. I'm immune to hangovers." "Damn. Gorgeous, smart, a chef, and now doesn't get hangovers? Girl you're blessed. Tsk." Cee grinned before going back to her eggs. She transferred them to a plate with bacon and sausages. And she then carried a plate full of pancakes to the dining table. Natasha looked at the table and raised her perfect eyebrow at Cee, making the woman grin. "I'm big on breakfast. I'm a farmer's daughter." She simply said, smiling. "Let's eat. You don't have anywhere to be, right?" Natasha quietly trudged towards a chair and seated herself down. "No, I'm quite free." Cee poured Natasha a tall glass of orange juice while she sipped on her coffee. After her excessive stalking on the curly-haired s*x goddess, she found out Nat wasn't fond of coffee. "By the way, I'm sorry for imposing on you last night and today. It was irresponsible of me," Natasha said, looking at the woman across her grinning from ear to ear. Cee smiled brightly. "It was no problem. Anyone would have done the same." "Still, thank you." Natasha softly smiled, and Cee felt her day become ten times better. "You're welcome then," the photographer replied. They both started to eat, with Cee often stealing glances at the woman in front of her. She still couldn't believe that Natasha was actually in front of her. Everything about the chef and model is so beautiful. "Take a picture, it'll last longer," Natasha effortlessly lifted the corner of her mouth into a sexy smirk. Cee-cee gave her a guilty smile. "Sorry. Can't help it." "I didn't know I had that effect on you," Natasha sarcastically said, taking a small bite of the pancake. "You have that effect on everyone, may I remind you." Cee laughed softly. "Are you even aware of how beautiful you are?" At that, Natasha suddenly blushed. The chef is no stranger to compliments, but there was something in the way that Cameron said it that made it sound so genuine. Seeing Natasha blush made Cee more confident, but being the awkward person that she is, she attempted to wink at Natasha but got an eyelash stuck on her eyes. Natasha laughed, almost melodically. "Hey, stop being so rude," Cee lightheartedly pouted while she fished the darn eyelash out of her eye. Natasha raised her arms in mock surrender and continued eating, shaking her head amusedly. "Let me drive you home," Cee offered as they were about to finish eating. Natasha shook her head. "I couldn't possibly let you do that. I'll just get a cab." "Come on," Cee cheerfully said, "I'm heading out anyways. Where are you staying?" Natasha told Cee where she lived, with the bubbly photographer exclaiming that it was only a good 20-minute drive. In the end, Natasha could only nod at Cameron's persistence as they both rode Cee's black BMW to her place. "Is Happy still with you?" Cee excitedly asked as they parked in front of Natasha's home. "Yes. He's probably sleeping though," Natasha replied. "He's still a puppy." "Say hello to Happy for me!" Cee shouted as Natasha got out of her car. With a small smile and a quick wave, Natasha went inside her house, the smile never disappearing from her lips. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
