CHAPTER 3: (I Like That Rude Person) "Come on Cee. Wake up." "Chelsea you harlot. Shut up. I want to sleep." "You wanted me to wake you up at six. And it's six so wake the f**k up." "Go away. You can wake me up next year." Chelsea rolled her eyes and unceremoniously poured a glass of ice cold water on Cee-cee's chest, causing the plump girl to suddenly shriek and straighten up. Laughing her ass off, Chelsea managed to spew a few words out. "I've always wanted to do that!" Still shrieking, Cee bolted from the bed to the bathroom, not really knowing why she went there. "Fuuuuuck, your n*****s are like super solid right now," Chelsea commented, following her best friend into the bathroom while holding her phone and recording Cee-cee. "Shut the f**k up!" Cee-cee shivered and immediately draped her towel across her chest. "Are you f*****g kidding me right now?" She asked, incredulous. "I know right? I'm a genius!" Chelsea exclaimed, an extremely pleased look plastered on her face. "You know this means that our friendship is over, right?" Cee said, glaring at the tall blonde. "Haha. Whatever you say, boo. Hurry up so you can make breakfast." Then Chelsea went over to the toilet to pee while Cee-cee was still inside. "You are going to be the death of me, Chels. I f*****g hate you," Cee-cee grumbled as she exited the bathroom to change her top. "I f*****g hate you too, virgin!" Cee-cee shook her head. But she made a second glance when she saw her reflection on the mirror. Chelsea had slept over last night to watch movies and have a mini-slumber party and halfway along the second movie, Cee had fallen asleep. Chelsea took it upon herself to tuck her best friend in AND then draw on Cee-cee's face with some colorful Sharpie markers. "Wha-..." Across her forehead was a big colorful "GAY" and then on her chin was a drawing of a tongue. Chelsea also drew cat whiskers, clown nose, and a d**k. A motherfucking d**k on her cheek. She heard Chelsea giggling behind her. "Honestly, I'm so proud of my self. I never thought I had the talent to draw a d**k. But my experience at actually seeing one pays off." "Chelsea! I have to go to work! You f*****g bimbo!" "So what?" Chelsea said, wiping herself and wearing her underwear. "That 'GAY' on your forehead might actually help find you a date." Cee-cee immediately started to scrub the marks off her face. "You're going to regret this, Chels." "It might even help you score a date with your model crush." Chelsea teased, getting the loofah hanging from its place. Then, while Cee-cee was still distracted, she put some liquid soap on it and just scrubbed Cee-cee's face roughly. Cee-cee was taken by surprise, feeling the loofah scrubbing deep into her soul and with soap in her eyes, she blindly slapped Chelsea's hands away. Chuckling, Chelsea put the loofah away, watching her best friend struggle with washing all the excess soap off. "Although Cee, I hate to say this, but your crush is literally dripping with heterosexuality." After washing off the soap, Cee-cee dried her face. She almost had a slight panic attack when she saw that half of her face was an angry red from the excessive scrubbing from her so called best friend. "Chelsea, you f*****g t**t! Look at what you've done!" Chelsea peered over from Cee-cee's shoulder to see her handiwork and burst out laughing when she saw Cee-cee's face look like someone had slapped her. She leaned forward and planted a quick kiss on Cee-cee's cheek. "I'mma gonna make us some breakfast. Don't kill me later 'kay? Love you loser." * * * * * * * * Trying hard not to frown, Cee entered the studio and as usual, greeted everyone in the room. She was setting up all her equipment when Dinah approached her, two cups of coffee in hand. "Good morning Cee! Gosh, what happened to your face?" Cee turned and plastered a forced smile on her face. "I had an allergic reaction this morning." Dinah handed the coffee to her and she took a sip to calm her nerves. "That explains the redness. Are you okay though?" "I'm fine," Cee said with a slight smile. "I have to start setting up though. Thanks for the coffee D. You the best." "Sure thing Cami bear. Oh by the way, the whole staff is planning on going to Spiral tonight. You down for that?" Cee-cee paused, "The whole staff?" Dinah grinned. "If you're asking if Miss Natasha is going to come, we haven't asked her yet. But I'll tell you if she ever accepts." Then Dinah gave her a wink. Cee-cee blushed and nodded, setting up her equipment while being a bit flustered. Not a few minutes more had passed when Natasha herself arrived. Unconsciously, Cee tried to fix her hair and look a bit more presentable. Then, with her ever-present smile, she approached the chef who is getting ready for the shoot. "Damn girl. Do you have a jersey?" Cee started, doing her best to act all confident. Like they said, fake it 'til you make it. With a puzzled look, Natasha replied, "No, why?" "'Cause I need your name and number." And then she awkwardly winked at the beautiful model. Natasha, used to Cee's lame pick up lines, rolled her eyes. "Good morning Cameron. I see you're still hitting on me. I have a boyfriend." "-That never ever visits you or bring you flowers during work. A woman like you deserves everything nice in this world, you know," Cee honestly rambled. Natasha paused and looked at the plump woman beside her and felt her face slowly heat up. "You are such a flirt," Natasha mumbled before turning around and walking away towards the comfort room to confirm what was really happening. Meanwhile, Cee-cee saw Natasha's face begin to redden and grinned, proud of herself. After a 30-minute wait or so, they were finally ready to start with the photos. As usual, Natasha was professional as ever while Cee-cee tried hard not to look like a pining teenager. The whole crew acknowledge that the two of them work smoothly together and know Cee-cee's unrequited affection towards the model and found it amusing and would often subtly tease the photographer about it. Come break time, Cee-cee was back at hitting on Natasha while the latter tried her best to ignore Cameron. "How many times have I told you to not call me Nat, Cameron?" "Probably a billion times?" "Then why do you still do it?" "To get a rise out of you?" That earned Cee-cee a dirty look from Natasha. "You're quite annoying, aren't you?" Cee grinned, "Yes. Yes I am." Suddenly, their banter was interrupted when Dinah approached them. "So, Miss Natasha, you on to Spiral for tonight?" she casually asked, giving Cee a wink when Natasha wasn't looking. "Sure Dinah. I'm free tonight and tomorrow, so why not?" Natasha replied with a gorgeous smile at Dinah. And with that, Cameron's heart almost leaped out from her chest. ____________________________________________________________________
