The doctor, taken back by the sudden outburst didn't know what to say. He mentally took a step back to take a deep breath and to examine the couple in front of him.
Before speaking, he cleared his throat. "I take it that you weren't expecting that." He scanned the curly-haired young woman and found distress on her facial features. In fact, she was already, as what the kids call it these days, on full panic mode. Meanwhile, her partner, the brunette was frozen in place.
