Bane POV
Lucia fell asleep after the storm ended and Reya was able to stop the bleeding.
"Well she be alright?" I asked Reya who was washing the bloody cloths in the river.
"Yes, she will be alright."
I was afraid to ask the next question I had, but I needed to know. "Is uh-my pup..." God I couldn't even bring myself to say it. The lump in my throat was growing, I felt like I was suffocating.
Reya sighed. "I won't make any promises but, I think your pup is still with Lucia." I sighed in relief, I had already lost one pup and I didn't want to lose another. "You should probably check on Lucia she should be awake by now." I gave her a warm smile.
