“I don't want to get married. I don't want to have s*x,” Alaric's face turned red at the mention of the last word. “I just like that boy, and I want to be his girlfriend. We will kiss, talk about nonsense, and go to the movies and places with friends. What's wrong with that?!” She raised her voice at her father.
He turned around, hurt by her attitude. “Stop talking to me that way, Millie, and I already told you, you won't have a boyfriend. Go to your room,” he tried to avoid a confrontation with her, leaving that talk for when she was calmer, although that made Millie more uncomfortable.
