Without hesitation, Lucio informed Mr. Smith so he'd be aware of the situation and not be blindsided by his son's version of events. He tried to contact Candy to update her and find out who might want to harm her, but she didn't answer his calls. He'd have to pay a visit to her house.
When Mr. Smith learned of Albert's actions, he summoned him immediately to resolve the situation before it escalated beyond repair.
