Feelings
The evening sun cast a warm, orange light in the living room of Alaric's house. He was deep in thought when the doorbell rang, snapping him out of his reverie. He opened the door and found Clara, looking noticeably worried, the girls behind her. Millie said goodbye to them and they returned to the car, the young woman with golden hair giving her father a kiss before going straight to her room, watching as Candy was not in the living room.
"Alaric," Clara greeted with a tone that did not bode well. "Can we talk for a moment?" She asked, looking back and seeing that the girls were already in the car.
