Parker's Pov:

"Where have the two of you been?"

"Somewhere. Running for our lives." Ice said. Their faces are full of scratches. Damn, I pity them. Tinignan ko muna yung paligid. It's quiet, and I think I smell smoke..?

"Amoy nyo ba yun?" Tanong ko sa kanila. Napabaling naman agad sila sakin. Sera sniffs herself, wondering if it's her who smells. I heard Clinton laugh pero napa-aray agad naman yun dahil sinampal ni Sera ang sugat nya.

"Yeah. I smell something has exploded." Rowan said at nagkatinginan sina Clinton at Ice.

"Its the vehicles. And if we're still not going to move, we're going to die here, right? Any moment." Sabi ni Clinton at nag simula na syang mag lakad palayo samin.

"Pano yung mga kasama nyo kanina? Iiwan nalang natin?" Sera exclaimed.

"They're dead. After we called you earlier, we saw them right after, not breathing." Ice said to us.

"Nakita nyo ba yung nag kidnap sainyo?" Tanong ko sa kanila. Napabaling ako bigla kay Rowan na kanina pa tahimik at may tinitignan sa malayo.

"No, but we got this." Clinton showed us a handkerchief with a name on it.

Lächeln

"Eh? What's the meaning of that?" Sera asked and Clinton just shrugged. I furrowed my eyebrows. I don't know, but I sense a familiarity in the word.

"We need to get out of here and once we're out we're gonna figure out the meaning of this word." Ice said at kinuha nya ang handkerchief kay Clinton at binulsa.

Suddenly we heard a gunshot not far away from us. Damn, malapit lang kami sakanila.

"Let's go!"

We finally arrived at the campus. We informed the higher-ups about the situation in the forest, and they sent a couple of armed individuals to go there and check.

"Argh. Natawagan nyo na ba sila Logan at Phoenix?" Tanong ni Clinton samin. Pag dating namin dito ah wala yung dalawa which just adds the possibility that she's involved in this.

"Kanina pa pero kahit isa kanila ay walang sumasagot." Kanina pa tulpok nang tulpok si Sera sa phone nya at bakas sa mukha nya ang stress.

"Do you want to talk about it right now? Or I'll get coffee first for us." Tumayo si Rowan.

"Later. Thank you, Rowan." Ice replied and Rowan nodded.

This situation is making me mentally itchy. It nearly made me forget that I have a wound. Yung barilan sa police station, pag kidnap sa kanila, at yung nakasulat sa panyo. Lalong nakakapaoverthink.

Ang mas lalong nakakabaliw ay kung nasaan ang school's vehicle? At bakit wala sa police station nung pag punta namin dun?

"Hey, Ice."

Ice stared at me and waiting for me to speak.

"Anong location kayo kinidnap?"

Napatigil sa pag tulpok ng phone si Sera and her attention is now on us.

"Bago pa man kami makarating sa police station ay hinarangan na kami nila sa daan. Pinababa nila kami sa mga sasakyan including yung sasakyan kung saan nakasakay yung dalawang estyudante pati na rin yung guro." He said without breaking our eye contact.

I sighed deep and massaged my temple. That's why huh..

"Kung ganun...nakita nyo yung kumidnap sainyo, tama?" Pahabol ko. May kailangan lang ako ikumpirma.

"I guess. They're wearing bonnets and gloves, all black. We didn't saw their faces but I can tell na lima sila. We can't fight back because they were armed and we're afraid the students and the teacher also the driver will get hurt."

Sumasakit ang ulo ko ngayon, anytime ata mahihimatay na ako. Argh..this is making me sick.

Pero di ko masabi kung yung dinaanan namin ay nandun yung mga sasakyan dahil tulog ako nung nasa byahe.

"Wala dun yung mga sasakyan sa dinaanan namin. Ibang route ba kayo dumaan?" Sera suddenly asked and I can tell that she's up to something too.

"I guess nung kinidnap na nila kami at dinala sa sasakyan nila tsaka naman nila kinuha yung mga sasakyan." Napataas bigla ang isang kilay ko at minasahe ng todo ang noo ko. Parang paikot-ikot.

"Those vehicles were in the forest earlier. They are the ones that smelled of explosives." Biglang sumabat si Rowan na kadadating lang at may dalang tray na puno ng tsaa. That's why malayo yung tinitignan nya kanina. Her vision is really extraordinary.

"Hmm.. if that's so we need to we need to solve this case especially this word 'Smile' on the handkerchief."

"Smile?" Tanong sakin ni Sera and I nodded.

"It says 'smile' and I think it has a connection to those who abducted them." Tinignan ko yung dalawa na tahimik lang. But what confused me most is Clinton's paled face.
